All in all everything was great, had a great stay for a quick night during our trip. Queen room we stayed at was cheap. We enjoyed both wake-up service and exceptionally comfortable bed. The hotel was in a magnificent location, to the shopping centres. What's more, it was so close to restaurant as well as Barrie.

we really enjoyed being here. the breakfast was hot and free with friendly staff- hot, croissants and sausages, perfect to start our day. the room we booked was bright and absolutely perfect with a fridge, a super-comfortable bed and sink & tub.

The hotel is located centrally near Schitts Creek, and my room was immaculately clean, equipped with a fridge and microwave.

The hotel was located right by mall, a restaurant and Barrie.
Pity, but the beds were uncomfortable.

We loved the 42 inch tvs and the in room fridge. As well as how close to downtown you are.

The hotel has been recently refurbished and is very clean. The staff at check-in and check-out are very nice and polite.- Great location in Barrie, close to restaurants, the highway, downtown Barrie, and skiing options.

Location
Not a great experience at the hotel. The hotel is very out dated resulting in a dirty worn out feeling so it did not allow for a comfortable/relaxing stay. Another big problem we had was the we had placed the "Do not disturb" sign on our door prior to going out in the morning to find that housekeeping entered our room anyways to make up our room. This left us feeling violated and reinforced our decision to not stay at another Travelodge location again.

My family and I recently had a weekend getaway and stayed at a hotel just off Hwy 400. the location was perfect for our needs as it was close to everything we wanted to do. the room we stayed in was comfortable and the bed provided a good night's sleep. the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. the service we received from the staff was fast and friendly, making our stay enjoyable. In the morning, we had a delicious breakfast before starting our day. One downside was the occasional smell in the hallway, but it didn't affect our room. it was a pleasant stay and I would consider staying there again.

from the moment we entered the guest host went above and beyond her duties. Being able to have a full breakfast at this hotel was excellent and of course so was the breakfast and dining room staff.
this was not our usual Travelodge location for Barrie, however, would definately staff at this one again.

Of all the motels that I have experienced this was the quietest. In spite of being full to capacity no sound was heard from other guests. The staff were very friendly and cooperative and endeavoured to assist in any way. Beyond a doubt this was the most satisfying stay we have had.

pool and hot tub was clean.
the noise rule quiet time was supposed to be 10pm the party all around us was carrying on through til 3am noise levels should be enforced. pop machine was not full. pool hours are too short. went out for dinner at 700 and returned hoping to use the pool at 935. it was closed at 10

The staff were accommodating when we checked in announcing we had a pet & they had not received that info from my Internet check-in comment. Breakfast room/restaurant was reasonable & fast.
We prefer to have complimentary breakfasts with our hotel stays. Staff should have advised that pool was not open when towels were given out at front desk. That was found out after the pool door was checked! Poll was not open when hrs were specified. No elevator.
